I don't tell too many people that I was ever on the Talbot. I was only there for about four months. I went with her from Mayport, Florida to Philadelphia Naval Shipyards. I was new and on temperary duty. But here the pictures I have for anyone who wants them. Sorry about the quality, old camera.
Still have my belt buckle, I wore it for a long time after I left. Technically it was my first ship.
Most of the pictures are from the Ship yards in Philadelphia. I spent most of my time on fire watch.
