I graduated from High School on my own in Tempe, Arizona.  I then joined the Navy and served most of five years on board the USS McCandless.  You can see some about my ship on this web site.  I got out of the Navy in May of 1987.  I attended Moody Bible Institute for two years and studied a general missions major.  I left early and began working with abused and neglected children for the next eight years.  I worked in Philadelphia and Banner Elk, North Carolina.  I realized I needed a degree to move on any further, so I went back to school.  I graduated from Appalachian State University in December of 2000.  I left with two degrees.  One in Social Work and one in computer Information Systems.

      I Now live in Durham, NC.  I work for IBM.  I am an IT Specialist and work in in the area of Global Testing of IBM business Applications. I am currently on a team called WWERS. (World Wide Expense Reimbursement Solutions).

       NEW UPDATE - I am currently in the process of moving to Jacksonville, Fla. I figured it was time to be with the rest of my family.
